Dr. Erica Moret is Senior Researcher at the Global Governance Centre and Centre for Humanitarian Studies at the Graduate Institute and coordinates the Geneva International Sanctions Network (GISN). She is Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Security Studies is a Visiting Professor at both the Graduate Institute and Sciences-Po.
She holds a DPhil (Ph.D.) from the University of Oxford and is also a graduate of France’s Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA). In addition to coordinating various multi-stakeholder dialogues for the Swiss government and European Commission, she has led policy research on sanctions, humanitarian impacts, de-risking, and remittances for various UN agencies, as well as providing policy advice and evidence on sanctions to the Biden Administration, Global Affairs Canada and both UK Houses of Parliament.
