Dr. Caitlin Procter

Dr Caitlin Procter is a Marie-Skłodowska Curie Research Fellow at the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding (CCDP) at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and a part-time Professor at the European University Institute Migration Policy Centre. 

As a political anthropologist her research addresses questions related to childhood and youth in contexts of conflict and forced displacement, with a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa. She has lived and conducted research in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia, and she currently works on northeast Syria. 

She earned her doctorate at the University of Oxford in International Development in 2019. She has over a decade of experience as a consultant and advisor to UN agencies and INGOs including UNRWA, UNHCR, UNICEF, and Save the Children.
