Zaki Mehchy is a researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science, a senior consulting fellow at Chatham House, and a co-founder of the Syrian Center for Policy Research.
His work focuses on development policies. He has conducted research on the socio-economic impact of the crisis in Syria, poverty and multidimensional deprivation, and health indices in Syria during the conflict.
Zaki obtained a Diploma certificate in International Economic Relations from Damascus University. He has MSc in International Economics from the University of Essex, UK.
