With ten years of engagement in the field of non-profit actors in the Syrian context, Jelnar has amassed expertise as well as a lasting interest in topics related to research, civil society, gender, policy, and organizational development.
Her past experience includes managing and coordinating several research projects including the Mapping of Syrian Civil Society Actors, Gender Dynamics within Syrian Civil Society, and Root Causes of violent Extremism in Northeast Syria amongst others.
Jelnar has an academic and professional background in Pharmacy and pharmaceutical chemistry.
